What To Bring

Clothing / Gear

Kodiak Lodge provides top of the line rain gear, boots, waders and all of the necessary tackle for our guests, so you can pack fairly light (most people way overpack).  Soft sided luggage works best as it fits better in the small plane to Larsen Bay.  Pack personal clothing to layer under the rain gear or waders while fishing. We recommend items that wick moisture well and a warm insulated jacket for chilly mornings and polarized sunglasses are a must.  Our lodge has laundry facilities and can provide laundry service for our guests if needed.

Liquor

We don’t provide hard alcohol, but you can bring whatever spirit you like. There is a liquor store in Kodiak City to purchase before your flight if time permits or you can ship to us in advance of your trip.  If you would like help making these arrangements, please let us know.

Fishing License

You can follow the link on the right to purchase your fishing license and King stamp from Alaska Department of Fish and Game. Be sure to purchase a King Salmon stamp for the number of days of your trip, as we catch King Salmon all season.  License must be carried at all times while fishing. http://www.adfg.alaska.gov/index.cfm?adfg=license.main
