Our main lodge is used for dining and relaxing next to the warm fire. The new luxurious sleeping lodge sleeps 8 guests in 4 private double / queen suites with deck and spectacular water views. Throughout the season we offer saltwater & freshwater fishing for all 5 species of salmon, as well as world-class bottom fishing for Halibut, Lingcod, Yellow eye & Black Bass.
What types of boats do we use?
We fish four per boat and have two, 23' custom built cabin boats and a custom 28' cruiser with a marine head and a place to hide from the weather.

How many hours will you fish each day?
Anywhere from 7-10 hours each Day

What type of fish processing do we provide?
All of your catch is filleted and vacuum packed in 8-10 oz servings and packed in a waxed, lined airline approved box for your return home. The lodge provides 1 50lb. box per customer; in compliance with airline weight restrictions.

What if I have to cancel my trip or can't make it to the lodge?
Anytime traveling in Alaska there are possibilities of delays or cancellations due to weather. Kodiak Lodge does not refund lost days so we recommend the purchase of trip insurance. Contact us and we can help you with providers.

What if my outbound flight from the lodge is delayed?
Kodiak Lodge does not charge for extra days, however we do not offer fishing on those days

What is a normal gratuity?
Gratuities normally range between 8 and 12% of the package price, which is then divided among the entire staff.

How do we get from the Larsen Bay airport to the lodge?
Our representatives will meet you at the Larsen Bay landing strip and drive you approx. 1 mile to the lodge.

Is phone and e-mail available at the lodge?
Yes! We do have a phone you're welcome to use, however we do not pay for long distance charges. Your cell phone will not get service at the lodge. For internet and e-mail access you can bring your own wireless laptop or use our computer.

What gear does the lodge provide?
The lodge supplies all rods, reels, tackle and bait. All tackle is provided by the Daiwa Corp. and is replaced every 2 years, we can also provide raingear and boots. Our fly tackle is geared toward the entry-level fisherman, therefore some may prefer to bring their own.
